On the last Friday and Saturday of each month at the National Theatre you can catch a classical drama. The Bangkok Playhouse, on Phetchaburi Road has plays each week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. The Chalerm Krung Royal Theatre, on Charoen Krung (New Road) also has plays and dramas too.

The Patravadi Theatre has wonderful productions that you will thoroughly enjouy. It is an outdoor theatre it is becoming more popular in the area. Call 412-7287-8 for a current listing of shows in the area during the time you are in the area. Shows are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Make sure you check before had to see what shows are there while are in Bangkok. Please buy your tickets early as they do sell out very early.
